Follow Jesus closely the rest of your life. Many people do the abc's but follow Jesus from a distance.
Then Jesus said to his disciples, If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
Grow
Grow in knowledge of who God is by reading your Bible. (Start your reading in John)
And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,...
Grow by getting involved in the Body of Christ (which is his church). Try our church we would love to help you grow up in Christ.
From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Grow by having daily conversation with God. (pray) Tell him what is going on in your life.
One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples. He said to them, When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.
